In LMA they've again got a 3 higher attack than their LMA Heavy Knight counterpart (25A vs 22A), and all other things equal. the HMA Knight's 16, with all else being equal, chivalry bonus included. :huh:Ĭhampions are equal in stats to their standard fast counterpart units BA, IrA, EMA. This is entirely acceptable to Inno and most of the player base.

Since the siege army you used the first time became the defense, you can now rake in the points attacking the defensive army you put there. Grant it freedom, and then attack it again. Once you've taken the hex, don't add any defense. Just attack a hex with a siege army of Champions + Rogues. That's really the best use for Champions, since they give nearly twice the points for killing them than their standard unit counterparts do. Your guild is heavy into point farming on the GvG map. So I second Ruby's recommendation to keep the Champion Retreat in inventory, and a reno kit for it, but don't waste the space in your city unti CE. Still, for the first time, it's actually useful to throw a Champion or two into city defense in CE. However, it doesn't have reactive armor like the AT does. It isn't until Contemporary Era where they exceed the CE Assault Tank in a stat (defense +35), and it's attack for the first time is no less than the AT. Still, the PME Universal Tank is far superior to a PME Champion. Champions are fast units until Postmodern Era, at which point they switch to being heavy units.

Fast units are generally useless, and sad but true, Champions even moreso, having lower stats than their standard unit counterparts for their age.
